I was just writing a note, analyzing two people I care for a lot. I realized how much I enjoy writing of personal things....... I've had a few excellent write-mates over the years. My most recent actually lasted years. I think I miss that. I remember when she used to say, 'yes, send me your notes! Or your thoughts might be lost forevermore.' It's cool when you feel like you *know* someone really cares to hear whatever it is you feel like saying. Writing's a lot easier than speaking, too.

I really don't want to dwell in the past. Just that it's *that* time of year, and I received something to remind me.

Yesterday, I overslept by about an hour and a half.... I called in, explaining that either my alarm had malfunctioned, or I had. I arrived at work about an hour later than normal, and had a great day. One can be so relaxed and in synch, with plenty of rest. So true, about rest.
