Dracula Winona Ryder's so lovely, in Dracula. Ooooo, her racing down the steps in her nightgown alone, is worth the price of admission.... One could say, a young woman with no bra on, has a nice bounce to her step. ;-) Monday, October 27, 2003
Ghastly Oh boy... This is from a review of the car I'm driving this week: "A ghastly-looking attempt at a low-budget sport coupe" At least it has a CD player. Hey, how many people get to drive a ghastly car around?? Sunday, October 26, 2003
Close Call Friday night, I had a very close call. I thought at first, for sure, I had killed someone. Through no fault of my own, but still... Saturday, my aunts and uncles, all eight of them on one side of the family, made me feel better about this. I think the first time in my life, these eight people gathered from around the country, not more than 45 miles from here... My Uncle Frank, who I think I've spoken with a couple times in my life, gave me a lot to know.... I was blessed in the way things turned out. People have a lot worse to deal with, in their lives. Life, you deal with it. Carried Away It's amazing how a person can be the most wonderful, constantly amazing person in your life, the most reliable person you know....Then that same person can change, so much..... I bet this is one of the reasons why people love their mother so much. Like my Mother. She still thinks I'm the most wonderful thing. I know she gets carried away, but I love it. Like I used to love it when my then best friend got carried away. God love her, God bless her, but my little woman friend in the NE cpmpletely changed, abandoning something wonderful. Which is her perfect right. This is life, you live it as you see fit. God bless my mother though. If only some day I will meet a female as faithful as her. As I have thought I have, a couple times in my life. She has the right, though... It's *her* life to live. And me, mine... Rowling's Mother Sitting here sorting from photos from a very rare family reunion, I had the JK Rowling Biography Channel special on in the background.... Wow, amazing... The woman who they describe as Rowling's mother, Ann, who had died at 45, looks almost exactly like the girl who was my best friend. The face, the smile, the eyes - at her best (albeit in this photo, a little older version.) I never thought there would be someone who looks that much like her. Well, there isn't, but there was (in the photo where they say she had multiple sclirosis.). The resemblance is spooky. I wonder what year she died... |
