Looks like celebrities like to tease guys in the Carib by taking their tops off on the beach, too. Except, we get to see the celebs! Yeah. Natalie Portman at St. Barts.... "Topless bathing is the norm, both on beaches and at poolside." Oh, really... :-) I'm not too big on sunbathing myself any more though. Seems pretty risky - skin cancer. It's a scary time, a lonely time, but still.... Lovely little starlet... It's good to laugh... [Warning, political humor - - and they do go a little too far at times. Amused One of my better talents in life, is the ability to amuse myself. For hours on end! The nice thing is, I've never found anyone close to as dependable either... Ha aha... Too Much I think I build up girls too much. Or, women, technically. If I find I like one particularly - it's as if I knight her, or, make her a saint. I do think a lot of her. How's anyone ever supposed to live up to that, though. Hmm... You can't really expect anyone to come close to satisfying you, if they're only giving you a fraction of their being, too. I suppose that makes an argument for finding "the one" and sticking with her. (Assuming she has the sense to stick with you - which she likely would.) Can't Beat It You can't beat it... This morning, I'm finally getting around to backing up a bunch of CDs of music from my PC. One I hadn't listened to yet, is U Roy's "long lost" album "Right Time Rockers." Wow... Some of his best stuff. So anyway, you can't beat it. Here I am on a Sunday morning, and it's gloomy outside. I've got some thumping reggae on to set my tone though. No headphones, nothing on my ears at all - just music, coming at me... U Roy over classic Mighty Diamonds... Broadcast TV There *is* broadcast, over the air TV! Amazing. This is kind of fun. A couple weeks before I moved, with lots of packing to do, tired of expensive digital cable, I cancelled it. I think it was the first time in at 5 years, that I hadn't had cable, or mini-dishes. [An aside... girls sure have cute faces. Well, the cute ones that is.] I went without TV altogether for weeks. Now, just broadcast (about 5 channels here - ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, OPB) and tapes. Nice... I'm all surprised there are actually things to watch on regular TV! Some bozo-ish "presidential candidate" is over on CBS being interviewed now.. I'm curious to find out who it is. Oh, it's Howard Dean. Poor guy. He doesn't have a chance. What was he thinking?? ... Now Fox. They're like The War Network... They're chomping at the bit! "Get 'em, get 'em, go get 'em! It's going to be a fun story to cover - so let's go!" Fire Just started my first fire in the fireplace here... It's burning nicely now... I don't see myself using the fan for circulation too much, however it's there and works fine..... The fog started up above the trees this chilly morning, and has come down into the field, now.. I'm not sure how much warmer that fire's making it in here - - it sure *feels* warmer though. I like it better without the fan on. Just the sound and the feel of that fire. Mmmm... I need to get some more wood - or a splitter to split those big chunks out back. |
