Seem So Close Sure would be nice to go off somewhere - with a bathing beauty...
I can see a little Theivery Corportation, for my slightly spacier and trippier followup to "Teach My Feet To Fly." Mmm, "You seem so close...but you're halfway around the world..." Yeah. ("Halfway Around" - Theivery Corporation.) Oh yes! Just met someone I wanted to. :-)

Forever and Ever
"I'm going to love you forever and ever, forever and ever, Amen." Perhaps the country song I love and feel the most (if it's not one of many George Jones songs.) I *love* this one! I *can* love forever and ever, too. It's one of those songs that gives me goosebumps, it's so classic. Something else I like about Randy Travis, is his songs like "I'm Gonna Have A Little Talk (With Jesus.)" A perfect, personal, understated gospel song. He *sounds* like a man with a lot of faith....

My Last Night Of Cable
Just doing some scanning tonight... For some reason, I really enjoy the trashy E! "True Hollywood Stories." Not that I ever liked Martha Stewart really.. However, boy, this show is making her sound like a living nightmare of a female! Eeek! This is my last night of cable TV.. Perhaps, forever! :-) Still love their cable internet though... Ha haha, apparently Martha's recipe's weren't much good. Yuck, who'd want cold-hearted food anyway! Ick. How did *that* lady ever get popular???! She's scary. Ha haha, it's so just that *she* is the face of K Mart, a store I've always hated!!! Somehow she doesn't look at all successful to me. Mean and rich? Not appealing in the least....

Use A Post-It!!
I've been reading through some reviews of a DirecTV/TiVo receiver, for future reference... I keep reading posts like this:
"Everyone I know has a VCR with about a dozen unmarked video tapes next to it, with various shows on them from various times. Even if you remember that you had something on tape, it's a mystery as to which tape it was on, and where on that tape it is located."
Wow... I've been using Post-Its or something similar to label my re-usable tapes for years. How hard is that??!!! Although, I'm kind of sick of VHS tapes... They *do* work. It's kind of a hassle sometimes though. Ha, just thought of an analogy.... Back when, I used to make some killer cassette tape mixes. For the most part, they were good enough that I really didn't care where on the tape I was listening. It would still be very good stuff. The trouble was, I would still be in the mood sometimes for a certain part of a tape. I would have been in a groove and a few cuts were just fantastic together.... Picking up the cassette, the tape may or (more often) may not have been in the right position to listen to exactly the song or songs that I wanted to at that moment. Ahhh, the hassle. Even with song skip, you could spend a while getting to what you wanted.... Then, everything changed. With the advent of good car CD changers, and easily customizable music CDRs, the listening experience (in the car) is completely different. Much easier and as a result, more pleasurable.... I don't have it yet, however I am thinking TiVo will be something like this...
