She doesn't even know she's going to fall in love with me, yet...

Trueisms
Urgh! I hate spam! You think you got actual mail, and alas, it's junk. OK, so you could give this bit of advice to any single person: "You can't break up with someone if you were never together in the first place. You only need one short date to see whether you're a bad match." Well, both of those are true, but how are those supposed to be the particular message for today?

Sunset out front, two weeks back.
We've slipped into the endless rain storm after rain storm that winter usually brings here, now..Grey day after grey day. I took this photo a couple weeks back, one evening, rushing back outside with my camera. (I seem to be awfully slow to post these days... well, it's been a busy time.)

Warm/Cold Personas, Same Person
What if someone seems really cold in email, but warm in person (in limited contact)? Hmm, I think there are some people who really don't like email that much, so they just keep it short and to the point. But then the same person can be charming in person. Actually, I like it when someone is charming in writing, *too*. Although, if you were with that person, maybe their writing to you wouldn't matter as much? Actually, I love a charming note, short or long. You can see it, and you can keep it forever if you like. The memory doesn't fade, because you can read the exact same words that girl wrote, again later. Whenever you like. Although, I can imagine a certain girl's charming smile whenever I like. Hmm. It's just funny to me, how a girl can be different in email, than in every day life.

A Dress
My favorite girl at work - who I ever see, is wearing a dress today. Yes!! :-) A whole different dimension. :-) I think I need to get out more....

She Smiled For Me
So, I'm sitting in Wendy's munching on my salad, cheeseburger and fries. Just keeping to myself, noticing some of the weird people there, and noting there are no beautiful women in the place right then. Fine, well, I'm in no mood to smile anyway, I think. I'm about a third through my meal, taking my time, in no hurry to get back to the office. Then, finally, whoa! A tall, beautiful 30 something woman walks in (and some guy too, after.) She's the sort of girl who knows how to move, too. Nothing slutty or too obvious. Just enough to really get your interest. (Although, even though I noticed and enjoyed this, it seemed none of the other guys did really, at least not at that point... It's fun when you particularly appreciate a certain feminine creature. It feels all the more special. Especially, when she *notices* you, too.) I couldn't help but notice. She looks over my way and smiles. Enjoying my admiration, I was thinking. So, OK, I continue eating, making myself mind my own business mostly, and not look in her direction too much. After ordering, she wanders ahead to choose a place to sit. Oh, my, she sits right across, at the nearest table, facing me. Perfect. :-) I *know* she chose that table, out of many, to be across from me. ;-) I could not help but notice little snippets of her conversation, in her pretty good English, with her German accent. OK, well, I suppose it means nothing, now. But it was nice all the same. She smiled for me.

One
So far, I have *one* particular present under the tree. It's from a special girl, and I think I was supposed to open it already. It looks so nice sitting there under the tree though!! That tree is gorgeous, it likes having a present under it I think. I need to get some more wrapped and under there... (Not to mention, sending off a thing or two!)

Front Row Seats
They were still setting up the area at the back of the Borders store, where the free preview of the Nutcracker show was to take place, when we walked up. We had arrived at the building a while before, just biding our time, determined to be there early, and find good seats... So when we found them finally setting up (45 minutes in advance or so, as I recall) I started to head for a couple chairs about four rows back. "No", she said! Instead, we walked right up front, to a little bench, which was still unoccupied in the confusion... I was wondering if we were *allowed* to sit there. We did. I was on the inside, smack dab in the middle. The place was swarming with young girls! Ha. In the audience, and, as it turned out, *all* the performers turned out to be girls. I think the write up I had spied, described them as aged 6 to 18. They seemed more like 4 to 14. It was really cool watching them do their little dances, pieces from the show. For 45 minutes, we sat, in the best seats in the house. Feeling lucky. Envious eyes upon us. I was glad she insisted we go right up front! The girls, as one might expect, were more polished, progressively, from the youngest to the oldest groups. Cute outfits too! It was really fun, and after, we found some really good Cajun chicken. Mmm...

Salve To My Wounds
A little Christmas music sure feels good right now... I *knew* I would act too slowly to get a particular house I was considering. Sure enough. Oh well, I think I'll be more ready next time something really interesting comes up. This stuff's gorgeous though (my particular *chosen* Christmas music...) Beats talking to real estate agents any day!
