Mutual Crushes
I think I must be the slowest moving unattached man on the world. Which doesn't bother me. ;-) ... On a related topic... There's this girl I've written about here before. I think we sort of have mutual crushes on each other. I'm also aware that she seems very attached to her long time boyfriend. So there it is. It's kind of cool really.

Lousy Takeovers!!!
Ugh, I just read in the local paper today, that ATTBI is being taken over by Comcast, soon. So, my email address which used to have @home in it, and now has attbi in it, will soon have comcast.net in it. Ugh! The fools. They should let us keep our email addresses! So, I had put that out of my mind... I go over to CDNow, to check on a Superchunk album, an old one I don't think I have ever gotten yet, and what do I find? CDNow has been assimilated by Amazon! Ak, it looks just like Amazon now! Sheesh. I'd read about that too, but put it out of my mind.... Ugh... I hate those corporate takeovers. I should be in charge of that.. All of them! There'd be a lot fewer... (And let's not even think about my electric utility having been bought out by Enron, our rates having shot up.... ) Yeah, just stop them all!!!!

Oh well, CDNow, (now Amazon really it looks like) had a nice write up on "On The Mouth." ("Quintessential.") I think I'll go for it. What can you do... (Ugh though 'comcast.net'????!) {Edit: Hmm, I've listened to one song on "On The Mouth" which I didn't like all that much. Maybe I like the not so quintessential Superchunk better...}

Kissing Frogs
I sure kiss a lot of frogs... Er, that is, I sure listen to a lot of bad songs, chasing the good ones! I know it's worth it, but eee, they get pretty hard to take sometimes! It's just as true with Christmas music, too. Of course, I'll try just about anything once. In music.... A woman at lunch wants to "find me a girlfriend." Ha. I'm not sure if I want to take her up on it. Who knows who she would think was some sort of match! .... I've been awfully scarce here lately, haven't I? Well, I've been busy doing things, mostly! I found a tree, put it up, put on lights, garland and beads, and some really cool old ornaments, last weekend.... And injured my hand doing it! Ahh..
