I'm finding Avril Lavigne really interesting. Charming in an off-hand way. What's her inspiration? "I write about whatever's on my heart," she says. (I love 'Sk8er Boi" - the video! Those Canadians know how to rock.) "There is more than meets the eye. I see the soul that is inside." (From Avril''s "Sk8er Boi.") Not good enough for her? Little does she know.

Let It Rain, Let It Snow
It's not my style, not my type, but I'm loving it this afternoon. B2K/Destiny Child's "Let It Rain, Let It Snow" really captures a part of what Christmastime feels like. Let the weather do whatever. It's wonderful inside. "Chillin' with my family." It's a little hard to imagine macaroni and cheese on Christmas, whatever though... "Let it rain, let it snow... All the problems let 'em go, 'cause it's Christmas."

Ideas
Sometimes dumb people give me good ideas. They'll be pondering, "How do I do this?" Which will make me think how to do that, and also, something more they didn't think to ask. Sometimes, one can be almost too clever for one's own good though.

Girl's Got A Boyfriend
Oh man, *her* again. She can slay me with a simple "hello." That's a rare quality. (As I listen to Beulah's "Calm Go The Wild Seas"on repeat, beautifully, sadly calming.) He eh.. They "screwed up" and accidentally included a CD player on my new PC.

Trying and Trying
This is an interesting turnabout. One of my neighbors seems to stubbornly want to talk with me, again and again, even though I obviously am not in the mood to. I suppose it's tough for people...... I seem to be either quite friendly and social, or quite the opposite. It depends. I love either mood just as much too. I enjoy my own company a great deal. (The Nutcracker was fun - I'll post on that soon.)
