Stone Sober
It sounds great, stone sober, with coffee.. It's really cool to hear someone else's personal vision in music. *If* you like that person and their vision...It's interesting to listen now, in a different frame of mind, from Thursday's night's preview. (As I sit and shave. I love electric razors.)

Hawaiian
After a couple false starts, I think this Hawaii music might be just right, for this dark, rainy morning. Looks like a perfect day to go out for a movie too - - and we're going to see Santa Clause 2 later. This morning, not really wanting to get up yet, I viewed some of "Hula Dancers and Tiki Gods" in bed.. Boy, lots of those hula dancers went topless! :-) Which adds a different dimension to my imagination...

Cute Daughter
I like Nancy Pelosi. She's got a cute daughter.

Mood For Music Bulldogs are such strange creatures..I want one.
Delicate and beautiful like the girl who made it, last night's two CD Hawaiian set, "Warm All Over." I'd been listening to a little Beulah just before that preview... Now I'm checking more Beulah - and some songs, like "Calm Go The Wild Seas" fit in perfectly with the vibe of that Hawaiian musical journey. I'm so much more in the mood for music, than anything else, today.

I was just looking at someone else's photos from Halloween parties, over the years. They've inexplicably made me very sad. I think I've been to one really excellent Halloween party in my life.

I love Judy Garland.

Retreat
I've been quite un-email-ish lately. I think I'm taking a little retreat... Oh, I wish to go home to a nice meal tonight. I might, but if I do, I'm going to need fix it. Errgh.

Scanner Again Summer in the city, Matthew & beloved Lady dog
It's really nice to have my scanner hooked up again. I found the perfect spot, and now it's handier than ever. Here's a photo from my youth, summer in the city. (A more complete version is here.)
