My new compilation CD is really shaping up! It seems to get better every day, with each delicious addition... I think "Teach My Feet To Fly" may be complete now... If not, very nearly so.

Brilliance At Times
It seems like many of my best ideas come at times when I can't do anything about them. Like at work, I'll have the best ideas about projects at home. Or, I'll recognize someone I should make a move on, if only she wasn't attached right then. Later, maybe she's not attached any more.... So, you'd *think* I'd be rapping on her door about then...

Ishii Hit
Boy, Ishii's first year in the majors, and he gets hit hard in the head by a batted ball. He's in the hospital now, with a titanium plate permanently in his head... How awful.

From Portland
There's a good article about Matt Groening in the Portland Tribune... He used so many PDX places, and street names, for The Simpsons. Sounds like he plans to move back to PDX in the future. I see his marriage was similar to mine, starting about the same time, lasting about the same length and ending about the same time - only, he's older.
