To Whistle By One of the skinny window installer guys this morning was whistling along as he worked... This song is is fantastic to whistle to, if you like to add in your own riffs now and then... The dub/instrumental, "Hero Wine" by Flowchart. I think I need a lot more Flowchart!! My whistling seems so smooth this afternoon. Then, "Envelopment Continuum" makes you want to get out on the dance floor! I love that this song is 7 and a half minutes long... Just A Little  Lately there've been times I've felt a little like James Dean in "East of Eden", the way things seem with my dad...It's been a lot of years since I felt that way, too... And now, it looks like 102 degrees here! Our first XXX day this year..(Edit note: A couple days later, I called my parents' place, looking for my mom. She wasn't there, so my dad answered. We had a good conversation.... Not really all that much like James Dean in "East of Eden", not that night, anyway.) Onion Juice Gun A little girl who fancied herself a bit of a police detective, had her own specially developed little gun, in "The Rookie Cop", from 1939.... a cute little film. Yes, an onion juice gun!!!!!! They're Just Wrong Knowing I like some Beth Orton a lot, I downloaded her 2002 album, "Daybreaker", a few days back, and now I'm checking it out. All Music is wrong about this album... Hmm, if I recall correctly, they said it just wasn't that great. It's got some great stuff on it! How about the horn riffs and laid back cool of "Anywhere"? How is that weak? If they think that, they're just wrong. :-) Monday, August 12, 2002
