No Sizzling
There sure are some great reggae anti-drug songs.. Which makes sense, as the whole Jamaican music scene is just soaking in drugs.. Frankie Paul - "No Sizzling", as in sizzling crack pipes.. "We don't want no sizzling..." What am I going to call this Spring 2002 reggae choices CDR? It's going to be a killer... Just fu**ing killer stuff...

Add Some Music
The Beach Boys "Add Some Music To Your Day", acapella version, is so cool! Hamonies eternal..

Thinking Blue Spring brings my Dodgers back
Opening day at Dodger Stadium is Tuesday, April 2. Dodger Dogs! No, Dodger Dogs are not Dodger pets.. (Someone actually guessed that!)

No Begging
There's really no reason to beg. Love and be loved, freely.

Summer Is Slipping In Little segment found in my orange
I commented on how nice the warm sun felt, sitting on that bench this afternoon, getting enough sun to get a little sunburned... "Yeah, summer is slipping in, slowly" she added.. We caught those warm rays just in time too. Later, they grey cold clouds returned. We felt it though, we felt it for real. The **warmth.**

I Want To Be Loved!
I've got reggae in my bones.. "I wanna be loved!.." Bujo Banton, what a great song.. Nothing wrong with that either.. You've got to be careful not to squander it if you've got it, real love. Ideally.

In A Halo
I just went out to check the moon... It's shining brightly through, framed by a halo of white, light and dark grey clouds.

Chaising your own tail... sometimes it feels that way.. Around and around and around.

Vacation Matthew, feeling happy Wednesday
Wow, a two and one half day weekend coming up again... This time with a lot more "free" time too. Feels like a vacation, almost...I'll be so glad by tomorrow afternoon some time...

A Cross
"Don't Fly Unless It's Safe" almost sounds like one of the newer Brian Wilson bootleg instrumentals.. Actually it doesn't sound that much like Bob Dylan at all... I don't see those two working together, but this is sort of a cross.. Brian Bob Dylan Wilson..

Angel
Mmm, I love this vibe.. Dylan's "Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground", one of the alternate versions... I really need to start putting some of my favourite reggae onto CDR... In the mean time though, it's great to hear this stuff.. I was in desperate need of a musical fix, this morning..

Tease!
What a tease spring is.. It's just lovely a day or two, off comes my jacket in the afternoon.. Wow, it's spring! Then I go for a walk today, and I have to pull my hood up over my head! What a tease! Come back, come back... Maybe it's waiting for Easter. :-)

Birdies Singing Through My Window Saturday, near Little Gabe park
Mmm, this morning, while I was getting ready for work, I opened the window for some fresh spring air.. In came the air, and in drifted the friendly sounds of birds singing. What a wonderful background sound.. It's one of those things which makes one glad to wake up to another day... Some more life to be lived.

Partying!
I can just feel it. I could be having such a good time partying right about now!! UB40 sounds so luscious right now though.... I can imagine dancing under the evergreens, UB40 outdoors... Wild abandon.. Right now!

Stripes of Clouds Sunday evening, March 24, just out my front door..
Now, somehow, behind those dark green sillouhetted trees are stripes of red and pink clouds, drawn on the still overall dark grey background.. I should open these shades more often! So, I just slipped on my shoes and put on my red overshirt real quick, to go out for a photo or two.. It was too late to capture those in the direction out my window..I quickly looked around..Looking west I did find a couple photos. (You can tell I was pretty happy about that!)

Glistening Trees
Mmm, beautiful.. Just outside my window this evening, the sun has somehow come through, and I can see those green trees glistening in the sunlight, with dark grey clouds just behind. Glorious. I like spring.

Sultry Sunday Afternoon
This Violet Indiana is so liquid and sultry, perfect for this lazy Sunday afternoon. I like her voice. Interesting, I had my eyes described as "violet" (which they're not, really, I think) recently, and then we saw a "violet" old VW Bug just yesterday. It's violet all over!
